Max is an award winning Director/DP based between Brooklyn and LA. His feature directorial debut, Kenny Scharf: When Worlds Collide premiered in competition at SXSW. He has gone on to show films at DOCNYC, HotDocs, Aspen Film Festival, and Woodstock Film Festival.


His recent DP work for In the Shadow of Palms had it’s World Premier at Tribeca Film Festival. He also likes to edit here and there. You can find some of his editing work at the wonderful home of www.razorsoft.co  He’s been advised not to include the editing work but he’s convinced that the work speaks for itself and staying “in your lane” is overrated.


His foray into the arts began when his father met with a clairvoyant who implored him (father) to buy his son a camera. TRUE STORY.
